1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and any services provided by DC Polished Plastering(“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, or engaging our services, you (“the client”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
2. Services Provided
2.1 DC Polished Plastering provides plastering, Venetian plastering, drywall, and associated finishing services throughout the United Kingdom.
2.2 We reserve the right to modify, withdraw, or amend any service we offer without prior notice.
3. Quotations and Contracts
3.1 All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Quotations are based on information provided by the client. Any variation to the original scope, materials, or unforeseen conditions may result in revised pricing.
3.3 A contract is formed when a quotation is accepted in writing or by confirmation of booking and/or payment of a deposit.
4. Deposits and Payments
4.1 A deposit may be required to secure a booking or cover material costs. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or works have commenced.
4.2 Payment terms will be clearly stated on all quotations or invoices.
4.3 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final payment is due immediately upon completion of the works.
4.4 Late payments may be subject to interest and administrative fees as permitted under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
5.1 Clients may cancel or reschedule a booking by providing at least 7 days’ notice in writing.
5.2 Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice may result in loss of deposit and/or additional charges to cover expenses or loss of work.
5.3 We reserve the right to postpone or cancel works due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, illness, material shortages). In such cases, we will reschedule the work or refund any payments made for unstarted work.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 The client must ensure that access to the property is available during agreed working hours.
6.2 The work area should be cleared of personal belongings, furniture, and obstructions prior to the commencement of works unless otherwise agreed.
6.3 The client must inform us of any potential hazards, defects, or site restrictions prior to work starting.
7. Workmanship and Materials
7.1 All works will be carried out with reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry standards.
7.2 Materials will be of suitable quality and sourced from reputable suppliers.
7.3 Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur due to the nature of decorative plastering materials and application methods.
7.4 Upon completion, the client will be asked to inspect the works. Acceptance or continued occupation of the premises will be deemed as satisfaction with the completed work unless defects are reported within 7 days.
8. Liability
8.1 We are insured for public and employer’s liability. Copies of insurance documentation can be provided upon request.
8.2 DC Polished Plastering shall not be liable for:

Pre-existing defects or structural issues;

Damage resulting from misuse, poor maintenance, or external conditions beyond our control;

Indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, income, or enjoyment).
8.3 Our total liability in connection with any project shall not exceed the total price paid by the client for the relevant works.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All text, logos, images, and design content on this website are the intellectual property of DC Polished Plasteringunless otherwise stated.
9.2 No material from this website may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written consent.
10. Data Protection
